Amanda Posa

I attained my master's degree at the University of Florida in Special Education with a minor in Sustainability Studies, as I have a love for both environmental science and for teaching. I love to incorporate my passion for education and the natural world in the work I do each week. I use my research and studies to implement contemporary evidence-based practices in education in a personal, one-on-one mentoring setting.  I have been gratefully working for the Coburn Ventures Community for Change for the last eight years. I lead the writing circle content, oversee website development, assist with gatherings, and engage in a diversity of other project-based tasks that help to support meaningful change for others. 

I love staying active and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether I’m playing sports, exploring new hiking trails, or wandering along the Deschutes River with my pup, I’m happiest when I’m moving, breathing fresh air, and enjoying my wonderful home that is Bend, Oregon.
