Description: Robert Rose is currently vice president, marketing and product strategy, for CrownPeak - a software-as-a-service company providing web site management software for global organizations. Robert joined CrownPeak in 2002. Since coming aboard he has revamped the company's brand and messaging, as well as taken over product strategy for the company.

Previous to joining CrownPeak, Robert served as vice president of strategic planning for Ignited Minds, an advertising agency specializing in strategic marketing consulting to the entertainment and consumer electronics sectors. There he directed the company's business development efforts, new internet service offerings and contributed to the firm's creative, results-oriented internet marketing strategies.

Robert has been providing strategic marketing and technology related consulting for web startups since 1994.  He served on the board of the SIIA's Software Division from 2003 to 2006, and was one of the founding members of the Executive Council on Software as a Service.  He is a frequent speaker at internet related conferences, and writes a monthly byline for the online marketing publication iMedia Connection. Prior to technology and the internet invading his life, Rose was a screenwriter and musician in Hollywood. He helped create a television series for Showtime Networks, wrote a number of plays that premiered in both Los Angeles and Off-Broadway in New York and scored the music for numerous film and theatrical productions in both cities. Despite that, Robert still lives in and loves Hollywood with his wife Elizabeth, their Golden Doodle Daisy and enormous Pug Winston.
