Description: After more than two decades of research and research management at Bell Labs and AT&T Labs, Andrew moved to academia in 2001, where he directs the interdisciplinary Digital Technology Center at the University of Minnesota. His personal research is currently devoted to diffusion of technologies and economics of data networks and ecommerce, drawing heavily on economic history. He writes provocative articles on the interaction of technology and society and the dynamics of change.
