Description: In his role as Chairman and CEO of Stone Yamashita Partners, Keith is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the firm, developing new practices and methods, and consulting with senior most leaders at SYP’s clients on their toughest issues. Keith has been featured in FORTUNE magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and Fast Company magazine in recognition for his work for HP, Nike, PBS, and others. Keith is a strategist, innovator, and writer with experience in helping CEOs turn their companies around. In his career, he has worked side by side management and senior leaders to launch new companies and brands, as well as transforming large, global organizations. He has worked with CEOs and executive teams at companies including Apple Computer, Herman Miller, Hewlett-Packard, Gap Inc., IBM, Old Navy, PBS, Pricewaterhouse Coopers Consulting, Saturn, Bill McDonough’s new venture (Green Blue), among others. He has published in The Harvard Business Review and has served as a regular contributor to Harvard's Strategy and Innovation publication, edited by Clayton Christensen. Starting this summer, Keith will be a regular columnist for Businessweek Online about the topic of innovation. He has lectured at Stanford University and the Yale School of Management, and is also a frequent public speaker at conferences. Keith has authored two books; UNSTUCK was published by Viking/Penguin/Portfolio in April 2004. He holds a BA in Quantitative Economics and an MA in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University.
