Brynne joined Coburn Ventures in 2006 after five years researching the semiconductor industry at UBS and Lehman Brothers. As a research associate on the communications semiconductor team for UBS in San Francisco Brynne researched mid and small-cap semiconductor and electronic design automation industries such as Broadcom, Marvell, PMC Sierra and Microsemi.
In 2003 Brynne moved to New York to join the large cap semiconductor team at Lehman Brothers where she researched broadline semiconductor companies such as Intel, AMD, Altera and Xilinx, among others. During that time Brynne authored a comprehensive report on Intel and the microprocessor industry as well as many other industry and stock specific pieces. At Lehman, Brynne also researched the alternative energy industry with responsibility for the solar energy sector. Prior to working in equity research, Brynne served as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer in the Allston-Brighton neighborhood of Boston assisting low-income community members in the homeownership process.
Brynne has a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, lives in New York and takes frequent trips to ski and hike in the Wasatch Mountains in Utah.
